On June 18, 2024, at approximately 11:09 p.m., San Francisco Police Officers from Ingleside Station responded to the area of Mission Street and Silver Ave regarding a shooting.
Officers arrived on scene and located a victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Officers rendered aid and medics arrived on scene. Despite the life-saving efforts by first responders and medical personnel, the victim was pronounced deceased on scene.
The SFPD Homicide unit is leading the investigation.
