Foreign Tourists Hospitalized After Accident in La Paz

 


La Paz — On the night of December 6, a serious car accident occurred at the intersection near Los Planes-El Sargento, resulting in two foreign nationals from Denver, Colorado, being hospitalized.

The incident was reported at 10:30 PM, prompting immediate response by local authorities and emergency services. Upon arriving at the scene at 10:38 PM, officers from Los Planes were already present, along with paramedic teams in units SB-14 and LP-46.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the vehicle, an Acura MDX with California plates, lost control and veered off the road. The injured individuals were identified as Coulter Stansell and Lia Leath. Both were transported to Juan María de Salvatierra Hospital for evaluation and treatment.

Traffic accident specialist accompanied by tow truck unit G-05 arrived at 11:28 PM to continue investigations. The vehicle was subsequently removed and secured in the municipal traffic yard.

Authorities are continuing their investigation into the cause of the accident, but no further updates have been provided at this time. The prompt response by emergency services highlights their commitment to ensuring public safety.
