LOS CABOS — “In attention to our families in Cabo, we wish you an excellent Christmas Eve and Merry Christmas,” declared Mayor Christian Agúndez Gómez as he kicked off the inaugural delivery of “Christmas Dinners with You” to hundreds of families in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas.
This groundbreaking initiative, led by Mayor Agúndez and supported by his administration, marks a milestone in providing holiday support to local families. Starting at 5:30 p.m. on Christmas Eve, coordinated teams spread out across various neighborhoods to bring festive joy to the community.
Teams in Action:
Team One: "Estrella de Belem". Led by State Liaison Guillermo Sánchez and his family, deliveries were made in the Las Palmas neighborhood.
Team Two: "Merry Christian". Mayor Christian Agúndez himself, accompanied by SMDIF Director Linda Monserrat Montaño, delivered meals in the Caribe Bajo neighborhood.
Team Three: "Nutcracker". Represented by Juanito Gutiérrez and José Jarquín, this team spread holiday cheer in the Obrera neighborhood.
Team Four: "Santa's Helpers". Headed by Technical Secretary Salvador Castellanos and Víctor Montaño, this group made deliveries in Vado de Lagunitas, behind the Bodega Aurrera supermarket.
This unprecedented effort underscores the administration’s dedication to fostering unity and support during the holiday season. Mayor Agúndez’s leadership and the collaboration of his team have left a lasting impact on the families of Los Cabos, making this Christmas one to remember.
