CABO SAN LUCAS, Baja California Sur — Radiant and full of grace, Damaris Gaynor González was crowned Queen of the 2025 Traditional Festivities of Cabo San Lucas, in a celebration that blended youth, culture, and local pride.
The event, organized by the Los Cabos City Government through the Municipal Directorate of Citizen Participation and Organization and the Delegation of Cabo San Lucas, aimed to promote community spirit and preserve local traditions among the younger generation.
Damaris, described by organizers and attendees as a beautiful and charismatic young woman, will officially receive her crown on October 17, during the grand opening ceremony of the festivities, which will run from October 17 to 23.
The Municipal representative, Karina de la O Uribe, led the award presentation alongside local officials. Other winners included Melanie Navarrete Luján, who received the titles of Miss Congeniality and Miss Elegance; Jennifer Aguilar Amador, named Lady of Honor; and Fernanda Nahara Abarca, crowned Princess.
The coronation marks the beginning of one of the most beloved celebrations in Los Cabos — a week of parades, music, and community pride, honoring the heritage and joy that define the people of Cabo San Lucas.
“Damaris Gaynor González embodies the beauty, charm, and spirit of Los Cabos,” said one attendee. “She’s not just a queen for the festivities — she’s a reflection of the heart of our city.”
