LA County’s Pathway Home operation in Monrovia was a momentous day for Lisa - she moved off the streets in the morning and attended her son’s high school graduation in the evening.
Lisa fell into homelessness after leaving an abusive fiancé five years ago. Through Pathway Home, she and her dogs recently moved into interim housing. Immediately after getting her key, Lisa rushed to see her son get his diploma.
Now that she is safely indoors, Lisa will have access to supportive services to continue her journey to permanent housing.
