A large drone belonging to Amogy, Inc., a sustainable-energy startup, was discovered by the NYPD at the Brooklyn Naval Yard.
The drone, measuring over 5 feet in diameter, had been left on the sidewalk after a company party approximately a month prior to its discovery.
Amogy's CEO, Seonghoon Woo, confirmed that the drone was inoperable and had been in its location for some time before it was picked up by the police.
The NYPD ensured the drone was safe for transport by disconnecting its nitrogen components before moving it to the 88th precinct.
After investigation, the drone was determined to be non-threatening and was returned to Amogy, Inc
