As part of the "Guadalupe Reyes 2024" operation, the Municipal Traffic Department of Los Cabos, led by Deputy Officer José David Pérez Torres, has intensified breathalyzer operations at various strategic points in the municipality. These efforts have resulted in 34 infractions for violations of Traffic Regulations and the impounding of 26 vehicles.

The alcohol testing strategies are essential in reducing traffic accidents and ensuring public health. Authorities emphasize that alcohol consumption not only harms the human body but also poses a significant risk to road safety. Each vehicle stopped and each individual prevented from driving under the influence represents a potential accident avoided.

These operations are conducted in collaboration with multiple government agencies, including the National Guard, Civic Justice, and the Internal Inspector's Office. This joint effort underscores Los Cabos' commitment to upholding the values of "Order, Justice, and Security", as promoted by its Public Safety department.

Municipal Transit officials remind residents to prioritize safety by designating a sober driver. Beyond avoiding legal penalties, this precaution helps prevent road accidents caused by alcohol, a leading factor in traffic incidents.
