Carnival Panorama docks in La Paz with nearly 5,000 passengers

More than 3,400 visitors expected to tour the city

The Integral Port Administration of Baja California Sur confirmed Thursday the arrival of the Carnival Panorama at the Port of Pichilingue in the city of La Paz, marking another strong day for cruise tourism in the region.

According to port officials, the vessel arrived with 4,869 passengers on board, and an estimated 3,407 travelers are expected to disembark to explore La Paz’s beaches, waterfront, and local attractions. Authorities project that the influx of visitors will generate an estimated 3.4 million pesos in economic activity, benefiting restaurants, tour operators, retail shops, and transportation services across the capital.

Local leaders highlighted the ship’s arrival as part of a steady rebound in cruise activity along the Sea of Cortez, noting that each port call brings meaningful revenue to small businesses and service providers in the area.
