After extensive investigations and tactical fieldwork, the State Attorney General’s Office (PGJE) successfully apprehended two men accused of a violent robbery targeting the Potable Water and Sewer System (SAPA) offices in La Paz.

On the afternoon of Thursday, December 5, officers from the Warrants Investigation Unit detained Oscar N, 53, and Néstor N, 48, both hailing from Sonora. The suspects were captured in the Emiliano Zapata neighborhood after authorities issued arrest warrants linking them to the December 3 heist.

The robbery unfolded on Tuesday, December 3, when masked individuals stormed the SAPA offices. The assailants discharged a firearm and physically assaulted two employees before escaping with a bag of cash. Their swift getaway prompted an immediate response from law enforcement.

From the moment the crime was reported, the PGJE, in collaboration with local, state, and federal security agencies, launched a thorough investigation. These joint efforts led to the capture of the suspects, who are now set to appear before a Control Judge.
