A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle Wednesday morning along the Los Cabos Tourist Corridor, near Cabo Bello, prompting an emergency response and renewed concerns about pedestrian safety in the area.
The incident was reported at approximately 11:38 a.m. near mile marker 23.5, in the direction toward Cabo San Lucas. Firefighters arrived to assist a private ambulance already on scene. Authorities found a compact service vehicle involved in the collision and an adult woman lying on the roadway.
The injured woman was transported to a hospital for medical evaluation. Her condition was not immediately released.

Officials said the cause of the crash and responsibility will be determined by the appropriate authorities following an investigation.
The stretch of road where the incident occurred is known for frequent pedestrian crossings and has seen similar accidents in the past, raising ongoing concerns among residents and drivers about visibility, traffic speed and pedestrian safety along the busy corridor.
